By inserting the card into the SNMP/HTTP network slot on the UPS, users can remotely monitor and control the devices in a back office, server room, or data center via standard web browsers, the network management system (NMS), or command line interface (SSH and Telnet) on their network. They can also perform management tasks including scheduled shutdowns, startups, and reboots. When a power issue occurs, administrators will be notified immediately via e-mail, SNMP traps, and SMS. By utilizing the auto-shutdown software, servers and workstations stay protected from data loss due to power failure. Event logging tracks the operational history of the UPS. With its hot-swappable capability, the system can remain ON for connected equipment when service personnel perform on-site installation or replacement. With its multi-language interface, users can choose their preferred language for easy management.
